NOMINATIONS & COMPETITIONS:

1. Best Video Film. The prize for the first place is 1000 Euro.
   
   There are three groups in this nomination:
   
   
   • Group А – for professional producers of cinema and TV-format
     The prize for the first place is 600 Euro
     max duration 56 minutes
     
   • Group В - Short Films (any films under 26 minutes)
     The prize for the first place is 400 Euro
     max duration 26 minutes
     
   • Group С - Amateur Films – for those who’s beginning his way in the underwater filming
     Special prize of the festival “Silver Shark”
     max duration 10 minutes
     
   • Group D – for participants under 14 y.o.
     Special prize of the festival “Silver Shark”
     Best Video Film
     
   
   The juri sets additional special prizes for:
   
   
   • The best film made in the Mediterranian sea – nomination of 2012;
   • The best film made in fresh water;
   • Tha best film of wracks (archeology)
   • Tha best film made in Ukraine
   • Tha best film-portret about legendary people of the sea
   • Tha best music video (underwater theme)
   
   The films are estimated by the fallowing criterions:
   
   
   • General impression
   • Direction
   • Camera man skills
   • Music
   • Script
   • Level of difficulties
   • Originality/li>
   • Creativity
   
   Minimum of underwater shots : 30%. Format: Mini DV, BLU-RAY, DVD. In case of submitting video materials in Blue-Ray or Mini-DV formats 2 DVD copies are obligatory to enclosure. Additional CD with synopsys and a few film's screenshots (resolution 300 dpi, format jpg, jpeg).
   
   Non-English or Non-Russian language produced films must have English subtitles or be dubbed in English.

2. Best Underwater Photo.
   
   There are three groups in this nomination:
   
   • Group А - professional photo. The prize for the first place is 350 Euro.
   • Group В - amateur photo. The prize for the first place is 100 Euro
   • Group С - child photo (participants under 14 y.o.).The prize for the first place is 100 Euro.
   
   Categories:
   
   • Human & Sea;
   • Sea & River's Animals;
   • Lake & River Water;
   • Wreck;
   • Macro;
   • Black & White;
   • Red Sea photo;
   • The Best Shark's photo - special prize from organizers of Festival.
   
   Set formats : 30 x 40 cm.
   Each competitor is allowed to present two photos in each category.
   Photos must be clearly signed on the back, in block capitals : NAME, SURNAME, complete address and title of the photo.
   Additional CD or DVD with photos (maximum high quality).

3. Best TV-Programme.The prize for the first place is 300 Euro (with using underwater subjects).
   Duration unlimited. Format: Mini DV, BLU-RAY, DVD. In case of submitting video materials in Blue-Ray or Mini-DV formats 2 DVD copies are obligatory to enclosure. Additional CD or DVD with synopsys and a few film's screenshots (resolution 300 dpi, format jpg, jpeg).

To be mentioned in the Festival’s Almanac, website, TV and press participants are expected to submit to the Organisers’ Committee the following (besides the registration form):

• photo(s) of author(-s) of work(s)
• information about author(-s) of work(s)
• photocopies of works (stop frame for video works)

Festival participant’s fee are EURO 25 for adult, 2.50 for children.
